Title I Program
(IMPROVING ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT OF THE DISADVANTAGED)
Title I, Part A is the oldest and largest federal funded program which provides financial assistance to schools with high numbers or high percentages of poverty to help ensure that all children meet challenging state academic standards. Title I is directly connected to ESSA regulations. Each elementary school receiving Title I funding provides intervention for children identified as most in need of educational help in English/language arts and mathematics. The school sets goals for improvement, measures student progress, and implements programs that supplement regular classroom instruction. Carlin Park Elementary, Hendry Park Elementary, and Pleasant Lake Elementary schools serve students through TAS programming which serves targeted children who are the least successful.
Parents are an important part of all aspects of the program. Please click on the Parent Information links below to learn more.
