The MSDSC School Board, Superintendent Dr. Widenhoefer and
Assistant Superintendent Dr. Relue took a tour of the new athletic building led by Mr. Lantz, AHS Asst Principal/Athletic Director. The new building will consist of locker rooms, a concession stand, a team store, a medical room, and storage. The locker rooms will house the home, and visiting football teams, and one for tennis. AHS will host a community open house in the beginning of August
Jenn Snow, 5th grade teacher at Hendry Park, and her daughter Kylee Snow, a 2024 graduate of AHS presented Kylee's Eagle project at the board meeting last night. Kylee's Project added an outdoor reading area and a separate learning area at Hendry Park Elementary.
The new school year will begin on August 7! Please read the letter linked below for important information about the start of the year. Be sure to attend registration at Angola High School's gymnasium on July 31 from 10:00 AM-6:00 PM. Until then, enjoy these beautiful summer days!

OPS (Optimal Performance Sports) spent the 2nd day at our football field. Todays session worked on speed and agility. Coach Thomas, Dr. Jason Russell and head trainer Zach Thiele lead the session. Great Job AHS Athletes and Thank You OPS!

During a morning route in Pleasant Lake, a bus while stationary was backed into by a vehicle. Immediately the bus driver reported to local authorities the bus the accident, and reported no injuries to; students, the driver, or the bus. A local police officer arrived at the scene to assess the accident. Following the officer completing an accident report and confirming there were no injuries to any students, the bus was able to return to its normal morning route.
The first priority of MSD of Steuben County Schools is always the concern and safety of our students and staff. Thank you to law enforcement and MSD staff for their quick response in handling this accident.
Dear Families: To meet the needs of the many students who participate in summer school, credit recovery, and band and yearbook courses, the district will have students keep their Chromebooks once again this summer.

Angola High School celebrated the Class of 2024's academic achievements last night at Seniors Honor Nights. The night consisted of the scholarship awards, top 10 announcement, and presentation of honor cords and stoles. The students earned a grand total of $1,023,586 in scholarships for their amazing hard work. Watch AHS page for photos in the upcoming days.
MSD of Steuben County's Nationally Accredited Montessori Early Learning Center is enrolling for the 2024-2025 school year. Don't miss our Open House today from 4-6 PM! Children 2.5 through 5 years old are eligible to enroll. Approximately 50% of children enrolled at the ELC receive full tuition assistance for the entire school year.
