Cardinal Chronicles - 9/15
Happy Friday Cardinals:
This week was a busy week of learning and growing at Carlin Park. We are so proud of our students for their work ethic and kindness to others! Here’s a recap of a few of the MANY wonderful things happening in our school:
- Kindergarten Letter Fun: Our kindergarteners practiced writing their letters with shaving cream! We got a little messy but saw lots of smiles! Kindergarteners are working on mastering their letter names and letter sounds.
Girls on the Run: Mrs. Newton and Miss Oster kicked off our Girls on the Run Fall Season with some stretching and goal setting. It was perfect weather to get outside and run! The program works on exercising and empowering participants to be all they can be. Way to go girls!
2nd Graders LOVE Recess: Our second graders are all smiles for outside recess. They are able to choose from a variety of different activities to help give their brains a break after a long day of learning! We are proud of their kindness, listening skills, and safety on the playground.
