Our incredible MSDSC educators showcased their dedication to leading and learning yesterday at Trine University's "Storm Into Summer" Conference!
We're so proud that more than 10 of our teachers presented in breakout sessions, sharing their expertise and insights with colleagues. An amazing 25+ of our staff attended, soaking up new knowledge and strategies!
Check out these action shots of our teachers in full swing! While we couldn't capture everyone, it was truly an inspiring day of professional growth.
A huge thank you to Trine University for organizing such an incredibly organized and inspiring event!

Support is available all summer long!

First Graders at Ryan Park enjoyed the last few days of their ABC Countdown! A field trip to the zoo, walking field trip to Commons Park, and yoga day just to name a few! Have a great summer break!

We honor those today who sacrificed and served.

On Thursday, fifth grade students said "Peace Out!" to elementary school! They were excellent leaders this year at Ryan Park and will be missed very much. Good luck in middle school!

At the Cook Center for Human Connection, we recognize that summer brings both excitement and challenges for families. In June’s Mental Health Newsletter (English/Spanish), we’re focusing on how to create a summer that fosters connection, balance, and well-being for your child. In this newsletter, you’ll find strategies to help maintain healthy routines, encourage social interaction, and set boundaries for screen time. We’re also sharing simple ways parents can support a smooth transition into summer.
We’re excited to provide valuable resources, including ParentGuidance.org - a platform designed to help you navigate your child’s emotional well-being with expert insights and practical tools.

Get ready to Fly or Cruise into the Angola Airport on Saturday, May 10th! We've got a fantastic event lined up: Our excellent AMS and AHS jazz bands will be laying down some seriously cool jazz tunes for your listening pleasure. And that's not all! While you're there, grab some delicious pancakes and sausage, or even take an airplane ride if you're feeling adventurous. It's just $10 for adults and $5 for kids, and the fun runs from 8 AM to 1 PM. You won't want to miss this!

Miss Elizabeth from Carnegie Public Library in Angola has been on a grand tour of our elementary schools this week to share read alouds and the summer offerings available at the library. By Monday afternoon, she will have visited every elementary student in the district! Check your child's backpack for summer reading program information over the next few days. There are many ways to keep students learning at the library this summer.

Not even the rain could dampen the spirits of the teachers and staff, who smiled and enjoyed the morning as they were welcomed with announcements from Dr. Widenhoefer and morning beverages from Travelin' Tom's Coffee.

Teachers play a vital role in our schools and significantly impact students' lives. This week, please take a moment to express gratitude to a teacher who has made a positive difference for you.
