MSD of Steuben County is proud to announce a historic achievement in early literacy, with the official 2024-2025 IREAD results showing a record-breaking proficiency rate. The district reached its highest-ever pass rate with an impressive 90.3% of students achieving proficiency, well above the state average of 87.3%.



Stick around after Back to School Night to learn how our Title I program supports student success! We'll explain how it helps provide resources for our elementary school and answer any questions you have. Hope to see you there!

on July 30th.
Please join MSDSC staff at the Angola High School gymnasium between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM on July 30th.
All students in grades K-12 will be able to receive their class schedules on this day.
To ensure a smooth experience for you on Registration Day,
please complete all of the necessary registration forms in FinalForms beforehand. If you did not receive the FinalForms email to create your account, or if you have any questions,

This week, students from across our district came together at Carlin Park for our summer school program. Focused on strengthening reading skills and setting our elementary learners up for success, these sessions are an important part of our commitment to student growth.

We're so proud that more than 10 of our teachers presented in breakout sessions, sharing their expertise and insights with colleagues. An amazing 25+ of our staff attended, soaking up new knowledge and strategies!

First Graders at Ryan Park enjoyed the last few days of their ABC Countdown! A field trip to the zoo, walking field trip to Commons Park, and yoga day just to name a few! Have a great summer break!

On Thursday, fifth grade students said "Peace Out!" to elementary school! They were excellent leaders this year at Ryan Park and will be missed very much. Good luck in middle school!

Second graders at Ryan Park have been learning to swim at the YMCA here in Steuben County. Thank you to Dr. Relue and YMCA Aquatics Director, Kelly Bailey for investing in the safety of our students around water!

On Thursday, Ryan Park fifth graders visited Sauder Village for their final elementary school field trip. Students toured historic buildings, visited the many different shops, and took train rides through the village. They had a great time and did a wonderful job representing our school!




Ryan Park Kindergarten students and families celebrated an amazing year at our annual Kindergarten Picnic last night. Great food, great singing and an awesome turnout. Mr. Baut even got to dance his last Tooty Ta at Ryan Park. We are so proud of all of our Kindergarten students!! Thank you Ms. Hartman, Ms. Decker and Ms.. Trausch for organizing such a great event!!





Get ready to Fly or Cruise into the Angola Airport on Saturday, May 10th! We've got a fantastic event lined up: Our excellent AMS and AHS jazz bands will be laying down some seriously cool jazz tunes for your listening pleasure. And that's not all! While you're there, grab some delicious pancakes and sausage, or even take an airplane ride if you're feeling adventurous. It's just $10 for adults and $5 for kids, and the fun runs from 8 AM to 1 PM. You won't want to miss this!
