Our administrative team and teachers from every building attended two and a half days of professional development at the PLC at Work, Live! event just before school started. We attended keynotes and breakout sessions to strengthen our culture of Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), and we also had dedicated team time to reflect and work collaboratively to design the framework for our PLCs and school improvement plans over the 2023-2024 school year.
Each Wednesday this year, barring any weather delays, students will report on a one-hour delay schedule so that staff can continue their work in PLCs. Elementary and middle school students may still be dropped off at the normal time to accommodate family schedules. We're looking forward to increased collaboration, community, and data dives together this year as we work to support the needs of all of our students!
