TechFest

Twenty-five Angola High School students, along with 400 other high school students representing 8 schools in Northeastern Indiana, competed at the 11th annual Tech Fest in Fort Wayne on November 22nd. Participants teamed up with their peers to compete in STEM based events. Teams must think outside the box while working collaboratively to plan, build, and test various ideas within the constraints of a given event using Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (S.T.E.M.) knowledge.

Security Team - Cyber Security Challenge: Damean Platt

Cyber-Hunt Team - Cyber Hunt: Drake Webber, Johan Carlo Mina

Think-Sink Team - Think or Sink: Wyatt Snow, Elizabeth Sears, Kylee Snow

Hardware Team - PC Hardware Challenge: Jacqueline Miller, Josephine Bonifay, Cameron Wood

This is the 3rd year AHS has competed in Techfest, and AHS has finished strongly every year. The 1st year they took first place in the cyber security challenge,  the 2nd year they took 1st overall by winning cyber security and cyber-hunt challenges and placing in 2 other events. They kept the tradition alive this year by taking 1st place in the cyber-hunt event. Congratulations to all of our competitors!
