Calling all elementary students & families! 📣 We're heading to the Carnegie Public Library on Tuesday, May 20th for a night of learning and fun! Some teachers will be there to share ways to keep the learning going all summer long, plus read-alouds and crafts! Join us from 5:00-5:45 PM in rooms 2 & 3 (downstairs). Get ready to Fly or Cruise into the Angola Airport on Saturday, May 10th! We've got a fantastic event lined up: Our excellent AMS and AHS jazz bands will be laying down some seriously cool jazz tunes for your listening pleasure. And that's not all! While you're there, grab some delicious pancakes and sausage, or even take an airplane ride if you're feeling adventurous. It's just $10 for adults and $5 for kids, and the fun runs from 8 AM to 1 PM. You won't want to miss this!

Miss Elizabeth from Carnegie Public Library in Angola has been on a grand tour of our elementary schools this week to share read alouds and the summer offerings available at the library. By Monday afternoon, she will have visited every elementary student in the district! Check your child's backpack for summer reading program information over the next few days. There are many ways to keep students learning at the library this summer.

We LOVE our book vending machine which was purchased by our amazing Booster Club. All students who earn CHIRPs for positive behavior are entered into a weekly drawing and five lucky students are randomly chosen to choose a free book.

To kick off Teacher Appreciation Week, Dr. Widenhoefer greeted teachers and students at Carlin Park Elementary. The teachers and staff were treated to a delicious morning drink provided by Travelling Tom’s Coffee truck. The coffee truck will visit a different school each morning this week. We thank all our teachers who dedicate themselves to our schools and their students; you are truly the heart of our school community."

Only grade 2-5 students who have not yet passed IREAD are ELIGIBLE and REQUIRED to attend summer school. April 29, 2025 Dear Carlin Park Families On Wednesday, April 30th, 2025, we are going to celebrate all of our K-5 students. Our students have been working so hard to meet and exceed grade level expectations that our wonderful staff and Booster Club have decided to treat them to pizza and Kona Ice. Our students will also enjoy an off campus recess at Friendship Park in Angola. We are so proud of our students and want to celebrate perseverance and hard work. This is an all staff and student celebration so parent volunteers are not needed for this school activity. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact your child’s teacher.
