Tennis is TBD.
Stay cool!

We want to inform you of a medical emergency at Ryan Park Elementary School today. At 8:05 AM, the school went into a āHoldā to keep the hallways clear so that medical personnel could respond quickly and safely. The incident was resolved with the cooperation of our staff and students and the quick action of our first responders. Again, we want to thank our staff, students, and first responders for their help in caring for our students by keeping everyone calm and safe and allowing for a quick response.
The middle school lighthouse team is working on creating reminders of the seven habits they learned in Leader in Me lessons. The papers will be hung together in a collage that will brighten the school walls.

The Angola High school will be holding auditons for this year play "The One-Act Play That Goes Wrong" By Henry Sheilds, Jonathan Sayer, and Henry Lewis. Auditions will be held in the high school auditorium on Wed. Aug. 28th from 3:30pm-5:30pm with makeup auditions on Thu. Aug. 29th from 3:30pm-5:30pm. Principal, Mr. Stellhorn came to visit all Kindergarten classrooms at Hendry Park. He was our Friend of the Day and shared his favorite things with the students! The students listened, interviewed, drew a picture and wrote his name. We turned our writings into a book for him :)

The ELC hosted a pancake with pals event this morning. The breakfast allowed parents to mingle and the students to show off some of the skills they have learned.

The high school entrepreneur class lead by Michelle Davis spent time today on the "Pipe Cleaner Challenge". The goal was to build the tallest tower. Students were challenged to work in a group to plan and then build the tower. Along the way just like in the business world there were obstacles in the way. They had to deal with budget cuts (could only use one arm) and relocation to another country (could not speak to each other). It was a great interactive learning experience for all.
