We are thrilled to announce that CELL has been awarded a grant from the Don Wood Foundation to expand our successful Indiana Pathways to Careers and Postsecondary (P-CAP) program to three new high schools in northeast Indiana.
#PCAP is designed to reach underserved students who possess high potential but are disengaged in school and are at risk of dropping out. By transforming their pathways, P-CAP prepares students for high-skill, in-demand industry careers in the local economy in sectors like advanced manufacturing. P-CAP students experience hands-on, project-based learning, integrated core classes with smaller class sizes, and connections with industry partners through workplace learning challenges.

Tomorrow is Wednesday, and it's our first one hour delay for professional learning of the school year! All buildings start one hour later, buses run one hour later, but drop off at the regular time is available if needed. This will happen every Wednesday during the school year.

We hope your students are having a great start to the year. We wanted to reach out to inform everyone that there will be a Parent Meeting on Tuesday August 13th at 5:30 in the AMS gym. We will going over all of the new communication platforms as well as general athletics information. After the Athletic Department meeting, you will meet with your Sports Coach to go over the rules/procedures specific to your sport.

The school board cut the ribbon last night at our open house, officially opening the new athletic building. We would like to thank the community, faculty and staff who attended and Scoops for supplying the ice cream. We are looking forward to hosting our 1st home game! Join us and don't forget to stop by the new store and get some gear!
