Designation Initial process. It demonstrated that there are various programs and
processes in place during the current school year that engage families, students, staff, and leadership within your building. It's commitment to fostering strong family-school partnerships plays a vital role in promoting student success. By prioritizing family engagement, they are not only enriching the educational experience but also strengthening the community as a whole. The Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) presented Hendry Park with the designation of PROFICIENT.

Firefighter Pathway students began live testing for their finals last week and will finish this week. After graduation, all students will have all the certifications to begin a job as a full-time firefighter.
Last Thursday, many of our students had art in the local Art Show. Shout out to the students who put their art into the world for everyone to enjoy and also to art teacher, Nora Majors. Providing opportunities like these requires extra time and effort by our teachers. Thanks to Ms. Majors for her extra time and attention in getting the artwork submitted and displayed. Angola truly is a small community with big opportunities!

Angola is a small community, with big opportunities. Thanks to the Angola Parks Department and our teachers for giving AMS students the opportunity to learn the value of hard work, the beauty of nature, and the importance of helping our neighbors. Tree Planting 2024 was a huge success. So proud of our students and teachers and grateful for this community!
