Carlin Park 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders visited Camp Chief Little Turtle today. It was a beautiful and sunny day. Students rotated through a variety of stations, including: a nature hike, a service project, a team building activity, and a nature program.

Check out the details about the Summer Reading Program at Carnegie Public Library of Steuben County. It is open to all children in the county 18 and younger. A special award was presented to all of the MSD Educator of the Year nominees by Dr. Widenhoefer. Each educator received balloons, letters of recognition, and a monetary donation to use for educational needs. Congratulations Tia Buchs, Amy Aldred, Chelsea Alexander, Jami Hubbard, and Emily Yoder.

Dr. Widenhoefer sat down and had lunch with the FIST students. FIST is a youth philanthropy organization. The focus of the group is to promote philanthropy among young people. Dr Widenhoefer said "Their passion for helping our community was infectious! "

Angola High School celebrated the Class of 2024's academic achievements last night at Seniors Honor Nights. The night consisted of the scholarship awards, top 10 announcement, and presentation of honor cords and stoles. It demonstrated that there are various programs and processes in place during the current school year that engage families, students, staff, and leadership within your building. By prioritizing family engagement, they are not only enriching the educational experience but also strengthening the community as a whole. The Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) presented Hendry Park with the designation of PROFICIENT.
